Succeed in High School

High School isn't a game

This blog is my newest creation and will focus on giving advice and helping teens get through high school as easily as possible. I'm a brand new high school graduate and am headed off to college this fall. So this advice is coming from the freshest of minds.

In this introducorty post I'll lay down the very basic rules on how to get by in the drama pit that is high school. Each day I will then update the blog with tidbits of advice or interesting stories. While I'll weekly post at least 2-3 articles elaborating on these simple points below:

1.Don't try too hard. This goes for everything from homework to trying to fit in. You should strive to do your best, but no one likes overachievers.

2.Choose a best friend and stick with him or her through thick or thin

Pro tip: dont choose a best friend of oppisite sex.

3.Be out going. Let people know you exist, but make sure you dont cross that thin line of annoyance.

4.Avoid drama at all costs. If high school is hell then drama is usually the fuel to the flames.

5.Have a good time. The cliche saying is also the law of the land. Thes are the best years of your life. dont waste em.
Memorize these 5 rules and live by them religously and I gaurentee* that you're high school career will be as easy as kindergarden.
*Not literally
